University Offers

THEY CAME!!!

Well, Perth came first, on the 16th of January. They appeared on the internet on the 15th, but since my internet took a week long hiatus, I wasn't able to blog about it. In any case, I did get lazy, and decided that I'd blog about all my offers after I'd received them all. My Melbourne offers did eventually turn up on the 20th of January, although I have yet to receive instructions on how to accept the offer.

From Perth, I got my first preference which was a double degree, Bachelor of Arts[Communication Studies]/Bachelor of Commerce in the University of Western Australia.

From Melbourne, I got my second preference which was a Bachelor of Arts degree in the University of Melbourne.

So I'm happy with the offers. To be honest, I wasn't sure I could make the Bachelor of Communications cut-off for University of Melbourne, so I'm really pleased about making the cut-off for the Arts degree.

As to which I will end up accepting...my decision will be known by the 22nd of January. A good, well informed decision...and hopefully I will have made no mistakes regarding this. This is such an important decision, and one that could ultimately decide my future for the next 10 years or so.

It's weird how I keep going on and on about Melbourne. But ultimately, I still don't know what to do, or where I should go. Perth is just as good too. Or, well, so we are led to believe anyway.

I think in the end, it comes down to where I want to live. The international, party scene of Melbourne? Or the quieter, more studious side of Perth?

Gosh, somehow this seems so obvious, but it isn't really.

I just hope I don't mess it up.
